Trails and camp are nice, clean and shaded. Camp has plenty of trees for picketing horses. Trails are wide enough to ride side by side. Cost for camping and use of trails is FREE! no water at camp.

Trails and Maddox Horse camp is located between Prattville, AL and Centerville, AL. Hwy 82, Turn off 82 onto Co Rd 183 ( you can only turn one way) go about half a mile pass the white church with graveyard and turn left on Co Rd 307. Go about 2 miles and this road turns into FOREST ROAD 418, its a gravel dirt road. Follow this road until you see a sign NARROW ROAD", bare to the Right and stay on Forest Road 418. Camp is 1 mile down on the right.

Trail Restrictions:  

Horses are permitted during hunting season. Roads are driveable and would advise staying on the gravel dirt roads. These roads will give you about 8 miles to ride. Best to ride horses during the week during hunting season.
