Elmore county has a wide variety of recreational trails to enjoy. Visitors will find 12 miles of some of the best mountain bike singletrack Alabama has to offer at the Swayback Bridge Trail or take a 1 mile wooded walk through Corn Creek Park.

If you're looking for something more mild and family oriented, take a trip to the Alabama Nature Center for miles of beautiful hiking or try the Bartram Arboretum trail at Fort Toulouse Historic Park.
