Directions to Trail:  

From Huntsville, take Highway 27 North to Highway 79. Follow Highway 79 North 22 miles to just north of Hytop. You will pass the equestrian parking area just before the hiker parking. If you go into Tennessee, you've missed it.

A tent-only primitive camping area is available at the bottom of the gorge not far from the Walls of Jericho natural amphitheater.
