TOP Trails is a 2,700 acre outdoor multi-use recreational area. There are more than 70 miles of trails for OHV and ATV vehicle, hiking and equestrian use, an archery range and welcome center. The area is part of a public project to reclaim the former Brecon Annex Military Base as an outdoor recreational area.

Directions to Trail:  

The Top Trails Park at the Coosa River Brecon Annex is located between the cities of Lincoln and Talladega, Alabama, approximately 20 minutes south of Interstate 20. From I-20 take exit 168 onto AL-77 South toward Talladega/Lincoln. After about 10 miles, you'll take a left at the red light onto AL-275 N. Follow that for about 3.4 miles then make a left turn onto Welch Avenue. There is one very small Top Trails sign just before the turn with an arrow pointing to the right. You'll know you're on the right road because it turns to gravel pretty soon and you'll pass a water treatment facility on the right. As you approach the gate, just stop so that you can pay the entry fee to the guards.Though there is no official street address for the park entrance, the Google GPS map coordinates for the turnoff from the bypass are: 33.469817, -86.063624.

Trail Restrictions:  

No firearms, no street-legal off-road-vehicles allowed on OHV trails. Helmets required for OHV use.
